While in NYC I visited many galleries and particularly enjoyed visits to the MOMA during my lunch breaks. There were strong influences from Picasso and Kandinsky in particular. This was also for the most part the period following the events of September 11, 2001. Many of the works reflect my reactions to this public trauma.
